here are the contest winners!

The Designing Gelato Cone Evolution contest has its winners!
The Bruto and Poerio Carpigiani Foundation is happy to announce the names of the two participants who won scholarships offered by Carpigiani Gelato University and Babbi to design the gelato cone of the future.
For the “creativity” section, Tom Dixon chose Matteo Memmi. Babbi decided to give the scholarship for “industrial feasibility” to Enrico Ippoliti.
The awards ceremony will be held during SIGEP the International Exhibition for the artisan production of gelato, pastry, confectionery and bakery which will be held from January 19th to the 23rd 2013 in Rimini, Italy. Event details will be provided shortly.
The event will be attended by authorities and the international press. In that occasion, the winning projects will be presented along with their creators. Congratulations to all participants!
